TRAX Parcel Rates: What Affects the Price

What usually decides the price of a courier parcel, what we could not confirm about TRAX prices and how to get an exact quote.

How Courier Prices Work

TRAX has not published a public rate card, and we could not confirm its prices. This guide explains what usually affects a courier price, so you know what to ask. Whether you send one parcel or many every day, ask TRAX for the exact price before you book.

Courier prices usually depend on the parcel’s weight, the size of the box and how far it is going.

If the box is bigger or heavier than the details you entered when booking, the price may change. Enter the real weight and size to avoid surprises.

Real Weight and Box Size

Many couriers charge by whichever is higher: the real weight on a scale, or a weight worked out from the size of the box. Ask TRAX which method it uses.

Common Size-Weight Formula (Ask TRAX)

Size weight (kg) = Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) ÷ a number set by the courier

For example, a big box of pillows can be light on the scale but large in size. If the courier charges by size, it can cost more than its real weight suggests. Ask TRAX for the number it uses.

What to Ask About Each Route

Distance usually matters too. Here is what to ask TRAX for each type of route:

Other Costs to Ask About

Cash on Delivery (COD) Fee

If a courier collects cash from the buyer for you, it may charge a fee. We could not confirm TRAX’s COD fee. Ask TRAX for the terms of your account.

Fuel Charge

Some couriers add a charge linked to fuel prices. We could not confirm whether TRAX does. Ask when you get a quote.

Packing Materials

If you buy packing flyers or boxes from the courier, they may cost extra. Ask TRAX what is available.

Cover for Valuable Parcels

We could not confirm whether TRAX offers insurance or cover for expensive items such as phones. Ask TRAX before you send something valuable.

Packing Tips and Taxes

Keep Parcels Small

Sellers often pay more than they need by packing light clothes in big hard boxes. A snug flyer keeps the parcel small and light.

Sales Tax

Courier services in Pakistan can be charged provincial sales tax. Your invoice should show the courier charge and any tax separately.

Return Charges

If a cash on delivery parcel is refused or cannot be delivered, the seller may pay for it to be sent back. We could not confirm TRAX’s return charges. Ask TRAX for your account terms.
